Nancy looking alittle lighter. It's been 3 months since my gastic bypass surgury and I'm down 55 pounds. I feel pretty good but sometimes trying new foods is frusterating because they don't always agree with me.

Robert C. Schader

I was trying to find a picture of my Dad , Robert C. Schader so here's what I found. On May 28, 08 my Mom called and told me that my Dad had had two massive heart attacks. He was in the hospital in ICU and stable for the time. She said they wanted to put a pacemaker in but that right now he wasn't strong enough for that surgery but he probably would be in a couple of days. I called my sister Linda and talked with her. My Dad was 86 and Diabetic and on oxygen so we felt we had to go see him. I got on a plane on may 31 and met my sister at the San Jose, Ca , airport. We went to the hospital and visted with my Dad we talked and joked. My Dad had a great since of humor. He had many IV's and monitors hooked up to him. We'd ask him how he was and he would say lousey. We asked him if we could get him anything and he said a glass of Champange. We told him it wasn't on the menu. He said he didn't think it would be. My Dad passed away on Tuesday June 3,08. It's hard to express the words of how great he was and how much he will be missed. I love you, Dad!
